Welcome to the website of the Volcanotech research team. We are based at Sheffield University, UK, spanning the Geography and Engineering Departments, with valued partnerships worldwide. This site tells you more about the team, the tech we have pioneered and some of the science this has enabled at far flung volcanoes across the globe. In particular, we focus on our recent UV volcanic gas imaging technology - the Raspberry Pi based UV PiCam.
